Are there any characters I cannot use in my CSR?
You cannot use any of the following characters in your CSR: < > ~ ! @ # $ % ^ * / \ ( ) ? & , Note that the asterisk (*.) will used for Wildcard certificate CSR's only. Also, do not include http:// or https:// in your Common Name.
